Safety Standards

Spotter Connect Child Safety Standards

Effective: July 24, 2026

Spotter Connect is for adults aged 18 or older. Members must use their own identity and complete the required age and identity checks before using member discovery or messaging.

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Spotter Connect prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, trafficking, solicitation, or any attempt to use the service to contact or exploit a minor.

Members may not upload, request, share, link to, describe, promote, or facilitate content or conduct that exploits or endangers a child. This applies to profiles, photos, notes, greetings, chats, meetup plans, and support communications.

Prevention and enforcement

How to report a concern

Use the in-app Report and Block controls whenever possible so the report includes the relevant account and conversation context. You may also email [email protected] with the subject “Child Safety.”

Do not download, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM. Preserve only the information needed to identify the account or conversation and report it through the app or to the appropriate authority.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In Canada, report online sexual exploitation of children through Cybertip.ca. In the United States, reports may be made through the NCMEC CyberTipline.

Cooperation and updates

Spotter Connect responds to valid legal requests and cooperates with law enforcement and child-safety authorities as required by applicable law. These standards may be updated as the service, legal requirements, and safety practices evolve.
